The unique shape of this baklava allows for space in the center for the mixture of crushed pecans, cinnamon and cloves. A homemade syrup of organic cane sugar and organic maple sryup is mostly absorbed in the middle of the pastry, allowing the surrounding phyllo dough to be light and crispy.
